With over 30 years of piano teaching experience in China, France, Switzerland, and the United States, Yuning brings a rich and international perspective to her students. Her background spans a wide range of musical styles—from early music to contemporary repertoire—and her approach to teaching is informed by both her performance and conducting training.

She holds two Master’s degrees in Historical Keyboards and Conducting in Historical Performance from Switzerland, along with Advanced Certificate Studies in Contemporary Ensemble Conducting. Her academic work also includes certifications in Music Theory (such as Counterpoint) and Music Therapy and Psychology, all of which contribute to a well-rounded and emotionally attuned teaching style.

Having taught students of all ages and levels, Yuning tailors each lesson to the student’s unique learning style and goals. Her experience as both an instrumental performer and a conductor provides her with a multidimensional view of music, which helps students understand, interpret, and express music from multiple angles.

Fluent in English, French, Mandarin, and Cantonese, Yuning enjoys working with students from diverse backgrounds. Her multicultural and multilingual experience allows her to create inclusive and supportive learning environments that inspire confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of music.
