Ted

Piano

Ted received his Ph.D from Arizona State University in Piano Performance and did his Post Doctoral in Piano Performance from Lewis & Clarke College.

Ted’s mother was a piano teacher and performer so Ted hit the ground running. He has played over 20,000 church services and accompanied the Portland Opera. He has over 60,000 hours of piano playing under his belt.

For Ted, teaching children is an extremely important endeavor. All the attributes of life can be learned through music study and transferred to all further studies, athletics, and the development of leadership skills to succeed in today’s world.

Like the Whitney Houston song says, “the children are our future, teach them well, and let them lead the way”. This song encapsulated my belief that teaching children is not only a great art but an honor to facilitate a brighter, newer, and evolving future for all.
