Her dedication and talent quickly became evident, leading her to pursue formal music education at the renowned Matanzas Music Conservatory. There, she honed her skills and developed a deep understanding of music theory and performance.

Throughout her career, Mariela has had the privilege of performing with prestigious musical ensembles, including the Symphonic Orchestra of Matanzas and the Camerata Romeu.
