Katia began her career as a member of the Holguin Symphony

Orchestra, Cuba (2009), Assistant Concertmaster from 2013 to 2022 and then appointed Concertmaster from 2022-2024. She also was a member of Holguin Chamber MusicOrchestra from 2008 to 2024.

Katia is a 2008 honor graduate of the Professional Conservatoire of Music, Jose María Ochoa,Holguin, Cuba. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Artistic Education from the University of Holguin,Cuba.

Katia has a warm personality and loves helping her students excel with their instrument.
