Ovidiu is a multi-instrumentalist and orchestra conductor who received his Masters of Arts Degree in Music Performance from Arizona State University. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Performance at Hochschule fur Musik in Karlsruhe, Germany.

Ovidiu has been teaching students of all ages and levels for over 13 years.

He worked as a music teacher at Ambassadors Preparatory Academy in Galveston and as a Secondary Orchestra Director at South-Houston High School.

In addition to Katy Music Studio, he currently teaches for the Bay Area Youth Symphony in Friendswood and serves as Assistant Orchestra Director at Hodges Bend Middle School in Houston.

He has performed internationally with orchestras such as the “Moldova” Symphony in Romania and Reutlingen Philharmonic in Germany.

In Texax, he has performed with the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra, Clear Lake Symphony, and the Galveston Symphony.
