Susel was born in Havana, Cuba in 1987 and began her music studies in 1997 specializing in piano, clarinet, and choir.

Between 2014 and 2015 she was in Mexico, Veracruz at the International Project of Children and Young Orchestras Ezperanza Azteca where she worked as professor of clarinet and as choir director and orchestra consisting of 200 children and youth musicians.

She has 14 years experience as a music teacher and she is ready and excited to teach clarinet, piano, choir, music history, music theory and direct any format, albeit bands, orchestras or choirs. She is one of the longest tenured teachers at Katy Music Studio.
